Victim-Offender Mediation Project

Where we are at

We currently have four trained victim-offender mediators.

We have carried out some work in 2005 with the Probation Service and the Borough Victim Liaison Officer and have worked with an offender.

We see this as a potential area for future work and this will be discussed further by mediators and Management Committee with a view to devising a project and networking with stakeholders to take this work forward.

This work has been discussed by Management Committee and Mediator Support Group.
We have decided not to formally pursie setting up a projuect at this time due to limited resources but are open to enquiries.
